By now you may have read on Facebook that the Red Chair is coming to the Historic Inns of Rockland. What’s the Red Chair, you’ve undoubtedly asked. Step aside Flat Stanley, the Red Chair is here to take armchair travelers on a scenic tour of New England’s inns and B&Bs, including Maine’s Midcoast and the Historic Inns of Rockland. Here’s the story.
| The Red Chair will visit Historic Inns of Rockland August 15-18, when innkeepers PJ Walter of LimeRock Inn and Joan Hantz of Granite Inn will photograph the chair on the Rockland Breakwater, at each of the inns including Berry Manor Inn, Granite Inn, Captain Lindsey House and LimeRock Inn.
