Front Beach Cottages

The Red Chair had so much fun in downtown Ocean Springs, MS visiting the Innkeepers of the Front Beach Cottages!  Adventuring around the surrounding area with new canine friend, Monte, was so much fun that the Red Chair forgot to apply enough sun screen and became a few shades redder!   It sure was nice to get back to the beach, while those of us back home are still dealing with snow storm after snow storm.  Oh Red please send some of that warmth our way!

Grand Magnolia Ballroom and Suites
Pascagoula, MS

Due to freezing weather the Red Chair had an interesting start to its stay at the Grand Magnolia Ballroom and Suites, but hey a little cold weather can't stop this traveling chair from having a great time.  Innkeeper Amy was awesome and had so many great places to show the Red Chair!  This beautiful Queen Anne style property with wrap around porches and is surrounded century old oaks and magnolia trees sits just a block away from the Historic Downtown area full of food, shopping, and fun!

Kate Shepard House Bed & Breakfast
Mobile, AL

Surrounded by 100 year-old Magnolia trees, the Red Chair stumbled upon this gem of a B&B!  The Kate Shepard House Bed and Breakfast is located in historic Mobile, AL, a perfect place for a southern getaway. 

Sweet Gum Bottom Bed & Breakfast
Andalusia, AL

Continuing onward across the country, the 73rd stop brought the Red Chair Travels to the beautiful Sweet Gum Bottom Bed and Breakfast in Andalusia, AL.  Red could see where the inn gets the name Sweet Gum because this inn actually is nestled among many beautiful Sweet Gum Trees.  Such relaxing peace and quiet was just what Red needed for the first night, the next day was to be full of exciting adventures!

Red Bluff Cottage Bed & Breakfast
Montgomery, AL

The Red Bluff Cottage Bed and Breakfast in Montgomery, AL was such an interesting place for the Red Chair Travels to stop because of the uniqueness that only this B&B can provide.  It is located on the highest bluff along the Alabama River which allows the view from the Verandah to be unequalled.  The Red Chair says this is a view you must get a chance to see with your own eyes!

Mistletoe Bough Bed & Breakfast
Alexander City, AL

Upon arrival to the Mistletoe Bough Bed and Breakfast of Alexander City, AL, the Red Chair found a beautiful and historical Queen Anne style mansion waiting to share the next few days with the lucky Red Chair.  

Holly House of Hamilton Bed & Breakfast Inn
Hamilton, GA

The Red Chair was so excited to learn that this cross country journey included a visit the Innkeepers of the Holly House of Hamilton Bed and Breakfast Inn, in Hamilton County, Georgia! Hearing about the uniqueness of their Victorian styled Bed and Breakfast and their gingerbread gables was one interesting draw but what the Red Chair was really excited to see was the century old American Holly trees that reside upon the grounds of the Inn.  No wonder the Inn is named after them!

Brady Inn Bed & Breakfast
Madison, GA
January 9-11th, 2014

Arriving at the Brady Inn Bed and Breakfast one chilly and rainy afternoon, Red was told this kind of weather is quite uncommon, the Red Chair was quite charmed by the circa 1885 Victorian B&B.  With early signs of spring all around, the Red Chair was quite excited to get the adventure rolling.  This is after all Historic Madison, GA, one of the largest historic districts in the state and one of the nicest ones in the nation.  

Twelve Oaks Bed & Breakfast
Covington, GA
January 6-8th, 2014

The Red Chair was so excited to visit the Innkeepers of the Twelve Oaks Bed and Breakfast of Covington, GA as the 68th stop on this cross country journey!  This beautiful 10,000 square foot, Antebellum B&B was built in 1836 and is included on the National Register of Historic Places. It is a must visit, especially for the rib cage shower! 

Stonehurst Place Bed & Breakfast
Atlanta, GA

Stop #67 brought the Red Chair to Stonehurst Place Bed & Breakfast,  in Atlanta Georgia, and Red was so excited to meet Innkeepers Paul and Lori Worrell.  Such a beautiful and historic B&B, how could the Red Chair not be excited to stay here!

Claremont House Bed & Breakfast
Rome, GA
December 30-January 2nd, 2014

Next stop was the Claremont House Bed and Breakfast of Rome, GA.  The Red Chair could not wait to spend New Years Eve with Innkeepers Holly and Chris, and explore such a beautiful area. What a great place to ring in the New Year!
