The Red Chair had a marvelous time visiting Innkeeper Vicki (and her amazing breakfasts) at the McKinney Bed and Breakfast.  With downtown square being a short walk away the Red Chair was so excited to get out and start exploring.  Equipped with great company, Red embarked on this latest adventure in Texas, taking of course, great pictures along the way!

Delta Street Inn

The Delta Street Inn welcomed the Red Chair to Texas for the very first time!  Red was so excited to cross off the fifteenth state included on this cross country journey.  Now down to the serious question: Is everything bigger in Texas?

Ahern's Belle of the Bends Bed & Breakfast Inn
Vicksburg, MS

The Red Chair arrived at Ahern's Belle of the Bends Bed and Breakfast Inn in Vicksburg, MS, and instantly fell in love!  This 1876 postbellum mansion features such a unique & beautiful style and also features original century old trees on the grounds, how could Red not be excited to stay here?

Arriving just in time for Valentine's Day weekend, the Red Chair and the Innkeepers of the historic Fairview Inn Bed and Breakfast celebrated by sharing the Red love all around Jackson, MS!

Innkeepers Christine and Byron Tims provided such a nice, warm welcome as the Red Chair arrived at the Bisland House Bed and Breakfast in Natchez, MS!  This Colonial Revival styled Historic Inn was so impressive and inviting, the Red Chair felt right at home.  Red couldn't wait to explore the area!

The Stockade Bed & Breakfast
Baton Rouge, LA

Stop number 79 on the cross country journey brings the Red Chair to the beautiful and charming Stockade Bed and Breakfast in Baton Rouge, LA.  Red was so excited to meet innkeeper Janice and her amazing crew.  With a huge welcome committee to greet the Red Chair, Red was flattered and very excited to visit such a unique and amazing place.

Avenue Inn Bed & Breakfast
New Orleans, LA
February 5-7th, 2014

The Red Chair ventured down to New Orleans, LA for a taste of how Mardi Gras is celebrated at the Avenue Inn Bed and Breakfast! Being right on the Mardi Gras parade route made the Red Chair want to stay through till the very end of the celebration.  Oh well, next time Red will make sure it is in town for the entire experience!
