The Red Chair found itself at the Sweet Biscuit Inn of Asheville, NC as the 55th stop on the cross country journey. This magnificent 1915 Colonial Revival home featured such warmth and welcome from the innkeepers that Red did not want to leave! 

Inn on Mill Creek Bed & Breakfast

Surrounded by the Pisgah National Forest, the Inn on Mill Creek provides such a serene and relaxing atmosphere, which the Red Chair needed once back from all of the exciting adventures the area holds!

Nolichuckey Bluffs Cabins
Greeneville, TN
November 20-22nd, 2013

Stop number 53 brought the Red Chair Travels to the beautiful Nolichuckey Bluffs Cabins of Greeneville, TN.  Sitting within the foothills of the Smokey Mountains, Nolichuckey Bluffs did not disappoint when it came to experiencing a wonderful oasis of relaxation and beauty!  The Red Chair really enjoyed learning the history and sharing quality time with new friends. 

The Mast Farm Inn

Headed to the historic Mast Farm Inn in Valle Crucis, NC, Red traveled down through the valley, with brilliant oranges and yellows blanketing the hills. Red’s chauffeur rounded a bend and pulled into one of the oldest and best-preserved homesteads in the South, now a cozy bed-and-breakfast Inn nestled against the side of the mountain.

What a romantic and relaxing getaway weekend!  The Red Chair escaped to Prospect Hill Bed and Breakfast for a few days of peace and quiet among the beautiful mountains!

Iron Mountain Inn

The Red Chair was so excited to see the famous Iron Mountain Bear welcoming it to the top of the mountain where the Iron Mountain Inn awaited Red's arrival.  Known for the amazing views the inn provides, Red could not wait to spend time on the wrap-around porch overlooking the treetops!

Mountain Song Inn
Willis, VA

Stop number 49 brings the Red Chair to the Mountain Song Inn Bed and Breakfast of Willis, VA for a few days of hard work away from the rest of the world, aka a pampering vacation, lucky chair.. This Blue Ridge Mountain retreat held amazing scenic views and endless peace and tranquility.  The Red Chair had a great time visiting and plans to make another trip back soon!

Here at Bella La Vita Inn, of Floyd, VA, the Red Chair found rejuvenating mountain air, relaxing country charm and an essence of home.  This mountain getaway was quite a unique and lovely experience for the Red Chair!

Inn at Riverbend

Great new chair friends and spectacular views filled the Red Chair's time at the Inn at Riverbend!  Red enjoyed an amazing breakfast on the deck over looking the New River, which is the second oldest river in the world, after the Nile of course. It was quite a memorable few days!

The Red Chair Travels was thrilled to hear that the next stop on its journey was to the Historic Rockwood Manor.  Once the Red Chair turned down the tree lined drive to the Bed and Breakfast, Red felt like it was instantly transported into the movie Gone with the Wind!  This 130 year old, 10,000 square foot home sits upon 68 secluded acres in the heart of the New River Valley.  Needless to say the Red Chair was right at home here!
