We're so excited for the Cliffside Inn's wonderful Red Chair blog post! The Red Chair had an amazing time with them in Newport, and was able to see and experience many of the sites and activities Newport has to offer...

There was so much to see and enjoy during my 3 days at the Cliffside Inn and Newport.  Innkeepers Nancy and Bill were great hosts, and I met some of the most interesting people at the inn and on my journeys around town.  The Cliffside Inn is in a very convenient location, and we were able to walk to many of the places that we visited (though I think Bill had some challenges finding a comfortable way to carry me around…comfortable for me that is!).

The Red Chair left its mark across Cape Cod, spreading and sharing the stories and treasures of the Cape’s towns.  Despite all the publicity, the Red Chair still got caught up in an awkward situation…

While at the Whalewalk Inn in Eastham, the Red Chair went to the Fairway Restaurant. One of the wait staff was standing by the owner of the Whalewalk Inn’s daughter Heather, (another Fairway Restaurant staff member) and said, “Can you believe these people came in with their own chair?” Heather laughed and told her that “these people” were her parents and that the Red Chair was on a special journey all over Cape Cod, and soon all of New England.

So as the chair continues on it’s path, look out for it in your neck of the woods!
