After a day spent exploring around the town of Jackson, Oregon with the innkeepers of the TouVelle House Bed and Breakfast, Red ventured out onto some of the local trails and tried its hand at gold panning and exploring some old gold mines. Red learned that although the gold rush was brief back in the 1850's, folks ultimately decided to stay because of the fertile farmland and ideal locations for orchards. Although unlucky with finding gold, the Red Chair discovered plenty of amazing wineries!
